Delete Your ReadHatch Account

You can delete your ReadHatch account and its associated data at any time, directly in the app. Deleting your account removes every reader profile you have created along with their reading history.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open ReadHatch and make sure you are signed in.
2. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm twice when prompted. The second prompt is the final confirmation.

Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone. You will be signed out as soon as it completes.

If you cannot access the app

Email info@readhatch.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We action these requests within 30 days.

What we delete

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and sign-in credentials, including your email address and any linked Google or Apple sign-in
• Every reader profile you created, including each reader's name and age
• All quiz results and reading history for you and your readers, including scores, points, streaks, levels, and collected creatures
• Your parent PIN or biometric setting

This data is deleted immediately and is not held in backups beyond 30 days.

What we keep

AI-generated quizzes. Quizzes created for a book are detached from your account and kept so that other families do not have to regenerate a quiz for the same book. Once detached, a quiz contains only the book title and its questions — nothing that identifies you or your readers.

Transaction records. If you have purchased a subscription, we retain the minimum billing records required for tax, accounting, and legal obligations. These are held by our payment processors and by the App Store or Google Play, not in your ReadHatch account.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your ReadHatch account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and only they can cancel one. Cancel first, then delete:

• Google Play:Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ReadHatch → Cancel subscription
• App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ReadHatch → Cancel Subscription
